Michelle Kirkwood is an experienced HR Leader with an impressive career trajectory in the financial and health care sector. Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in organizational design and managing large scale initiatives in a fast paced, high change environment. With a business partner focused approach Michelle has a proven track of building consensus and achieving positive outcomes through collaborative approaches. She is a change management practitioner and is currently supporting interventions to support Hybrid Work and build change management acumen across teams. Michelle also currently participates on the Burnout Committee under Dr. Barry Rubin, supporting interventions at Princess Margaret Hospital and Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, and has partnered to build a UHN in-house program to support non-clinical burnout.
Michelle joined UHN in November 2020 and is currently the People & Culture partner for the Corporate Portfolio, UHN Retention Strategy and UHN Partner Organizations. TIAP is one of the partner organizations where Michelle supports the CEO and team as their HR Strategic partner. In this role, she ensures the team’s success by delivering on a people strategy plan that aligns to their business strategies and creates optimal leader and employee experiences.
