Stem Cell Therapeutics licenses UHN’s Clinical Cancer Stem Cell Program

Stem Cell Therapeutics Corp. (TSX-V: SSS), a biopharmaceutical company developing cancer stem cell-related technologies, has signed a definitive license agreement with University Health Network (UHN), Toronto, Canada. The agreement, developed in collaboration with MaRS Innovation, provides Stem Cell Therapeutics (SCT) with exclusive worldwide rights to an innovative clinical cancer stem cell program. Stem Cell Therapeutics Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SSS), a life sciences company developing stem cell-related technologies, today announced the signing of an agreement with University Health Network (UHN), through its commercialization agent MaRS Innovation (MI), both of Toronto. ApneaDX Inc: A Medical Device to Accurately Diagnose Sleep Apnea at Home

MaRS Innovation and the University Health Network's Toronto Rehabilitation Institute have collaborated to bring a new technology to market that accurately diagnoses sleep apnea at the patient's home. Sleep apnea is a medical disorder that is gaining increasing recognition as a major health issue. It is estimated that six to eight per cent of the world's population suffer from the disease, but 85 per cent are undiagnosed.
