MaRS Innovation and the Ontario Centres of Excellence among the event’s sponsors

Dr. Daniel Kraft is a world renowned entrepreneur and innovator in the medical sector.

On Tuesday, May 31, 2016, Diane Francis, the first woman editor of a national daily newspaper in Canada and a distinguished professor at the Ted Rogers School of Management, will guide a conversation that begins with a keynote address by Dr. Daniel Kraft, one of the world’s foremost health experts and innovators whose ideas and work are shaping digital health.

Dr. Daniel Kraft will be sharing his insights and experiences as a medical doctor/entrepreneur in creating and commercializing game-changing therapies. He will be explaining what it means for the future of healthcare in today’s world of rapidly developing technologies. His knowledge on these developing technologies and what has potential in biomedicine and healthcare makes this a must-attend event.

This event will be taking place at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Room: TRS 1-067, beginning with the keynote speaker from 1 to 2 pm.

Tickets are free.

Following Kraft’s address, he will participate in a panel discussion from 2 to 3 pm with three fellow innovators, including:

  • Linda Maxwell, director of the Biomedical Zone incubator
  • Zayna Khayat, senior advisor, Health System Innovation, MaRS Discovery District
  • Peter van der Velden, managing general partner, Lumira Capital
